This sounds so incredibly complicated. And what is the end goal of achieving this level of statelessness? It it fear of surveillance?

Yes, it's not for 99.99% of people, which is why I say it's a Platonic ideal ;) . The idea is to show what can be done with current technologies, and how this is disruptive for governments.

Note, however, that a digital nomad working in cryptos can set up a similar setup without it requiring much work, given that he or she is already living the required lifestyle.

As time goes on, more and more people will have this possibility of being primarily present in cyberspace, and will choose not to be physically embodied somewhere.
